Marketing & Social Media Assistant
About the Role:
Weโre looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Admin Assistant to be the in-house marketing lead at our new store. Working closely with our Head of Marketing (remotely), youโll create engaging content, manage campaigns, support events, and help drive brand awareness both online and locally.
Youโll be fully immersed in social media, running our main brand accounts as well as the storeโs accounts, to build a wider audience online and bring more customers into our Nashville store.
This role averages 20 hours per week, with occasional extra hours during busy periods or special events, including some evenings or weekends.

Weโre passionate about storytelling through our stationery and building a thriving, engaged community around our brand. We have a large online presence and will now open a storefront in Nashville. Now, weโre looking for a dynamic Marketing Assistant to take our digital presence to the next level and help us grow organically.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing (60%)
Develop and implement content strategies tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, for both the main brand and store accounts.
Stay on top of social media trends and report weekly with plans and insights.
Film and edit short-form videos (product features, tutorials, behind-the-scenes), leading all in-house shoots.
Create frequent shoppable TikTok Shop content based on data and product highlights.
Be the face of the brand on socials, collaborating on ideas and bringing your own creativity.
Manage daily social media posting, respond to DMs, engage with comments, and post Stories regularly.
Support live events and Lives, on-camera or faceless.
Design, schedule, and send email campaigns via Klaviyo (training provided).
Track and analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Help develop blogs and bring brand awareness to the local Nashville community.
Plan and execute product launches, promotions, and campaigns across channels.
Manage pricing and signage throughout the store with the help of in store team
E-Commerce & Marketing Support (20%)
Upload products to Shopify with accurate descriptions and visuals.
Manage subscription box and digital renewals.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of product info across platforms.
Assist with marketing admin and organizational tasks as needed.
Event Support (10%)
Assist with monthly live and local events: setup, coordination, staffing.
Help plan local Nashville events and brand partnerships.
Support live social media events.
Additional Responsibilities
Communicate regularly with store staff and warehouse teams to resolve marketing or operational issues.
Be flexible with scheduling to meet business needs and be happy to work a range of hours and days to suit the business needs.

Great communication skills and a team player attitude, adaptable across departments.
Fast learner and independent worker who can research and solve problems with minimal supervision.
Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, able to pitch ideas and drive projects.

Qualifications:
Ideally 1+ year experience in marketing, social media, or admin: retail, e-commerce, or creative small business preferred.
Proven ability to create engaging social content and manage channels.
Comfortable with Shopify, email marketing (Klaviyo preferred, but training provided), and basic graphic design tools.
Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
Bonus: A passion for scrapbooking, journaling, crafting, and vintage products, someone who loves our niche and community.
