Role description
Position Summary:
Ames Watson is a private holding company with over $2 billion in revenue that purchases, transforms, and partners with companies to create long-term value. Our strategy is based on bringing more than just capital to companies — we bring know-how, problem solving, deep resources, and operational experience to help companies grow.
We are seeking a Marketing Associate to support cross-functional brand and marketing initiatives across the Ames Watson portfolio. This role will report to the SVP of Marketing and serve as a highly flexible team member, with a primary focus on creative asset development and day-to-day execution of marketing projects. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll help execute a wide variety of marketing deliverables that support both growth and firm-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a strong understanding of creative asset development practices across the portfolio; gain knowledge of vendor relationships, workflows and execution with the goal of identifying best practices, streamlining processes, and driving greater efficiency across brands.
• Partner with performance teams to develop asset best practices informed by data from Meta, Google, TikTok, and optimization tools like Motion; use channel insights to guide creative strategy for both paid and organic content.
• Maintain library brand standards, templates, and “best in class” collateral examples across the Ames Watson brand portfolio.
• Collaborate with eCommerce, performance, and brand marketing teams to support campaign execution as needed.
• Take on special projects across brand, content, and strategy, depending on business needs.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or creative operations — ideally in a high-growth, consumer-facing, or multi-brand environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with designers and creative partners to develop high-quality assets.
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice to Have:
• Experience supporting brand or marketing efforts across multiple business types, divisions, or brands—particularly in fast-paced or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Exposure to B2B or DTC marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Monday.com).
• A working knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g., social, email, paid media).
