Role description
Reporting to the VP, Head of Marketing, the Director of Marketing will lead the strategic direction of the brand, managing a world-class team and driving breakthrough marketing that resonates with both lifelong and next gen anglers. They will work at the intersection of brand, culture, and community, creating emotional connections that drive engagement, loyalty, and growth across every channel and customer touchpoint. This role is part of a brand platform, providing the Director with a powerful network, resources, and runway to build something extraordinary.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
β’ Oversee all marketing functions including brand, creative, digital, e-commerce marketing, content, social media, PR, and events.
β’ Lead the brand's global marketing strategy, developing integrated campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across DTC, retail, and wholesale channels.
β’ Define and evolve the brand voice across the growing global audience.
β’ Drive GTM strategies for product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
β’ Analyze performance metrics and ROI to optimize strategy, inform investment, and demonstrate results.
β’ Build and lead a creative, collaborative, accountable and high-performing team.
β’ Collaborate closely with product, sales, and executive teams to ensure marketing efforts align with broader business objectives.
β’ Champion innovation to keep the brand ahead of the competition.
β’ Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to achieve maximum return and brand impact.
REQUIREMENTS
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
β’ 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
β’ Proven success building and scaling consumer-facing brands, ideally in the outdoor, lifestyle, or premium goods space.
β’ Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, brand development, social media, and e-commerce.
β’ Deep understanding of consumer behavior, audience segmentation, and omnichannel campaign execution.
β’ Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive strategy.
β’ Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
β’ Passion for performance, purpose, and building something bigger than yourself.
β’ An entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

GEOGRAPHY
The ideal candidate will be based in or relocate to Bozeman, MT; however, candidates in U.S. coastal regions may be considered if they are open to travel to Bozeman two weeks per month.
