Role description
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic marketer who can dream big and execute quickly - someone excited to roll up their sleeves, drive real results, and help shape the future of a fast-growing small business. Sprinkled With Pink is a fast-growing, female-founded, Dallas-based brand personalizing products that spark connection and make moments unforgettable. With 350,000+ products handmade and 20,000+ five-star reviews, we’re ready for a Marketing Director who can grow with us — bringing smart strategy, scrappy execution, and a deep love for storytelling that converts. As the Director of Marketing, you’ll wear both the strategy and execution hats — partnering with the founder, owning marketing from end to end, and making moves that drive growth. Partnering closely with the founder, you’ll define company-wide goals, build a clear brand vision, and lead the execution across channels. We’re looking for a results-driven leader who’s obsessed with consumer behavior and passionate about building a brand that connects. You’re obsessed with what makes customers click, share, and buy — and you’re ready to turn those insights into action. RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role. You’ll be leading the strategy and doing the work — from mapping marketing plans to writing email copy, analyzing performance, and running seasonal shoots. You’ll own and oversee all marketing strategy -  building a roadmap, leading channel owners, and executing on strategic marketing plans to meet the overarching goals of the business. • Brand Identity: Shape and refine the Sprinkled With Pink brand voice to reflect the unique values, style, and spirit of our customer base. Define clear positioning, compelling value propositions, and a visually distinct identity, ensuring every touchpoint consistently reinforces who we are and why we matter. • Audience Alignment: Leverage data and insights to deeply understand our customer demographically, emotionally, and behaviorally. Translate those learnings into actionable personas that guide messaging, creative, and channel strategies, ensuring alignment across the full marketing funnel. • Campaign Development: Develop and execute campaign strategies that not only tell a compelling story but also drive action. From product launches to seasonal moments, you’ll bring ideas to life with bold, on-brand messaging and creative that sparks emotion, builds FOMO, and creates urgency. You’ll own the full campaign lifecycle - from pre-launch buzz and influencer seeding to launch day momentum and post-launch performance - ensuring every moment is strategically structured for maximum impact. • Multi-Channel Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy across a variety of channels including email, paid media, influencers, and organic social. You'll roll up your sleeves in a lot of areas while guiding the paid media agency (and possibly CRO/SEO) and an internal team member in others, ensuring each channel is optimized for growth, engagement, and brand consistency. • Budget and ROI: Manage our lean but impactful marketing budget, helping us punch above our weight. You’ll track what’s working, cut what’s not, and stretch each dollar for maximum ROI. • Team Leadership: Collaborate with a small internal team, freelancers, and trusted agency partners. You'll set clear goals, give direct feedback, and foster a culture of ownership, scrappiness, and continuous improvement. • Creative & Photoshoots: Lead seasonal photoshoots to ensure we’re capturing content that converts across ads, social, email, and site. • Analytics & Reporting: Define key KPIs, monitor performance daily/weekly/monthly, and pivot fast based on what’s working. Make decisions rooted in data, not guesswork. CORE VALUES + HOW WE WORK We’re a small team with high expectations. Here’s how we move: • Own Your Outcomes: If it’s on your plate, it’s yours to move forward. Take initiative and keep the wheels turning. • Be a Problem Solver: If something breaks or stalls, raise your hand and help fix it. We value action over blame. • Momentum Over Perfection: We’d rather ship fast and iterate than wait for flawless. • Challenge Thoughtfully, Then Execute Boldly: Speak up, ask questions — but once a decision is made, run with it full speed. • Drive, Don’t Drift: We want people who run on passion and purpose — we’ll slow you down before we’ll ever have to speed you up. • Team First: We win together, fail together, and support each other every step of the way. • Integrity Above All: We do what’s right — for our team, our customers, and our brand. REQUIREMENTS • 6+ years in marketing, ideally with experience in e-commerce and startup or small-business environments • 2+ years of marketing P&L or budget  management • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, marketing, journalism, or related degree. • Thorough knowledge of consumer behavior including why people click, purchase, and engage. • Demonstrated knowledge of full-funnel marketing strategy, from awareness to consideration to conversion. • You’re equally comfortable building strategy and jumping into a Google Doc to write the subject line, edit ad copy, or QA a product launch. • Deep understanding of social media ecosystem including channels such as  Instagram, Tik Tok and Pinterest, as well as influencers, content creators, UGC, and user behavior. • Extensive knowledge with email campaigns strategy and execution utilizing Klayviyo • Experience with PPC campaigns  including demonstrated understanding of Google AdWords and Meta Ads • Ability to navigate and lead attribution conversations and metrics including from Google Analytics, 3rd party platforms, and native platform data • High attention to detail and accuracy • Solutions oriented mindset • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment, including  rolling up your sleeves to get the work done as needed • Strong written and verbal communication skills required • Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a team • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines. • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must have authorization to work in the United States BENEFITS • Full-time salary • Full benefits including health, vision and dental insurance, 401(K) • Paid sick and paid time off • 40% off SWP products
