Role description
Events and Marketing Coordinator Sip of Hope Coffee            Chicago, IL, USA Job Overview: The Events and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the General Manager and Executive Director to manage marketing of Sip of Hope Coffee. This position plays a critical role in driving the marketing, events, and administrative functions of the organization. This role focuses on elevating Sip of Hope’s brand presence through strategic marketing initiatives, managing product launches, and coordinating both internal and external events. Essential Job Functions: Marketing: • Social Media Management: • Develop and implement social media strategies to engage with followers and expand the online community. • Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms. • Monitor social media metrics, adjust strategies to improve performance, and implement paid campaigns and collaborations. • Website and Online Presence: • Collaborate with the internal and external resources to redesign Sip’s website with a focus on driving ecommerce sales of coffee subscriptions. • Update and continually maintain Sip of Hope’s local search presence, ensuring we show up when searched in our neighborhoods. • Advertisements: • Develop and build out compelling ad copy for various campaigns. • Collaborate with General Manager and HFTD ED to test and eventually expand our advertising strategy for coffee subscriptions, local traffic and merchandise. • Loyalty: • Build out campaigns within Toast’s Loyalty suite to encourage repeat business. • Communicate with frequent and infrequent customers to understand how we can better our offerings to encourage repeat business. Events: • External Events: • Handle inquiries for off-site set-ups and manage catering requests. • Coordinate and attend off-site events to promote Sip of Hope, identifying new opportunities for brand visibility. • Develop and maintain partnerships for joint events and collaborations with other organizations. • Internal Events: • Handle inquiries and plan private rentals of Sip of Hope’s space. • Plan and execute in-house events, promotions, and staff gatherings. • Work closely with Hope for the Day (HFTD) for crossover events and staff training sessions.
