Role description
About Us
We’re the UKs leading provider of integrated technology solutions designed to give our customers an operational edge over their competitors. We support an impressive list of customers in ensuring their operations run as efficiently as possible and they are able to deliver the best customer and employee experiences possible. We design and deploy hardware, software, consumable and service solutions to reduce their costs, deliver new revenue opportunities and ensure their operations continue to run smoothly.
Over the 35 years we have supported an impressive range of customers in eliminating their operation challenges. Our customers sit across all industries and include Royal Mail Group, Kingfisher Group, Next, Muller and E.ON, amongst many others. We’ve grown quickly and continuously over those 35 years, and now we’re entering another period of rapid change as we set out to deliver our new growth strategy.
Marketing are the driving force behind that growth, and as such we are developing and expanding the team to better acquire new customers and deliver ever better value to, and from, our existing customer base.
Purpose
As the Marketing Executive for Vendor and Product marketing, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of initiatives and campaigns that drive product sales from our suite of approved partners. You’ll also support the Marketing Director in the ongoing development of the vendor marketing strategy.
You’ll be the key contact between the vendor’s own marketing teams and our internal teams (primarily Sales, Ecommerce and the wider Marketing team), ensuring we’re maximising opportunities to drive revenue through product sales.
Success in this role will come from strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders and the effective alignment of both businesses’ objectives, all translating into creative and impactful marketing campaigns.
Core Responsibilities
• Liaising with our partner vendors to understand their marketing strategies, plus their product development and launch roadmaps
• Owning the vendor marketing campaign plan for the year
• Inputting into the wider vendor marketing strategy, to include both how we work with our partner vendors, and also how our partner programme feeds into our own wider brand messaging
• Working with vendors to find creative ways to put compelling messages in front of targeted audiences to promote and sell their products
• Delivery of planned and well-coordinated multi-channel product marketing campaigns
• Being an authority in the business as regards our partners and our promotional plans
• Aligning internal teams in the delivery of campaigns to ensure the sales process is executed as effectively as possible
Desired Experience
• Working with vendors to create collaborative marketing campaigns
• Delivering effective product led promotions and marketing campaigns
• Working with sales teams to align campaigns to sales efforts
• Using CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) to design and build targeted campaigns
• Designing and copy writing of email marketing campaigns
• Using a CMS and updating content on a website
• Experienced in B2B marketing, ideally within the technology sector
• Basic SEO principals and the creation of SEO optimised content
• Creating and managing PPC campaigns
• Report creation and insight gathering through Google Analytics
• Experience of working with creative agencies and other suppliers
