Why We are Hiring
Complex is seeking a Marketing Manager, TikTok to own and grow the day-to-day TikTok presence for Complex Shop and Complex’s IRL events (including ComplexCon, Family Style, and other cultural activations). This is a mid-level role for a hands-on creator, strategist, and community builder who knows how to speak TikTok’s language, drive cultural relevance, and convert audience attention into measurable brand and commerce impact.
The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of direct TikTok marketing experience for consumer, e-commerce, or entertainment-driven brands (e.g. streetwear, sports, music, or lifestyle), and is fluent in both native TikTok content creation and influencer/community management.

What You'll Do
Content Creation & Management:
• Develop and execute a TikTok-first content calendar for Complex Shop and IRL events.
• Concept, shoot, and edit native-style TikTok content (short-form video, trends, challenges, product features, behind-the-scenes, etc.).
• Ensure creative output is aligned with Complex’s brand voice and optimized for TikTok culture and algorithms.
Influencer & Creator Network
• Build and manage a network of TikTok creators and influencers to amplify Complex Shop campaigns and event marketing.
• Handle outreach, negotiation, briefs, and relationship management with creators.
• Track and optimize performance of influencer content against brand KPIs.
Campaign Execution
• Partner with merchandising, events, marketing studio, and growth teams to bring product drops and event experiences to life on TikTok.
• Launch TikTok-native paid and organic campaigns tied to commerce, content, and cultural moments.
• Drive measurable results across awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Analytics & Insights
• Monitor TikTok analytics and platform trends, making real-time adjustments to content strategy.
• Report on performance, learnings, and ROI to marketing leadership.
• Stay ahead of emerging TikTok features, formats, and best practices.
Who You Are
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing TikTok marketing for a consumer-facing brand, preferably in sports, music, streetwear, or D2C e-commerce.
• Proven track record of creating viral or high-performing TikTok content—comfortable behind and/or in front of the camera.
• Strong understanding of TikTok trends, editing tools, and content formats.
• Experience managing TikTok influencer campaigns end-to-end (contracting, briefing, approvals, analytics).
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable improvements.
• Highly organized, self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, culturally driven environment.
