Key Responsibilities β€’ Brand Strategy & Planning: Own and develop the strategic direction for a portfolio of coffee brands, creating annual and mid-term plans to drive growth across multiple channels. β€’ Marketing Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of all brand marketing activities, including communications across earned, owned, and paid media. β€’ Brand Guardianship: Act as the brand guardian, ensuring alignment with brand standards across all consumer and trade touchpoints. β€’ Commercial & Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on brand performance and profitability; identify risks, opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly in collaboration with commercial teams. β€’ Retail & Ecommerce Activation: Oversee execution of trade marketing and ecommerce strategies to optimise in-store and online performance, including retail calendars and digital media plans. β€’ Event & Campaign Management: Manage the brand’s presence at events, sponsorships, sampling initiatives, and customer-facing activations. β€’ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead multi-functional teams to bring new products and innovations to market, working closely with supply chain, procurement, sales, category, and sustainability teams. β€’ Budget Ownership: Take full responsibility for brand budgets, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and optimisation. β€’ Agency & Partner Management: Manage external agencies and partners to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of marketing plans. β€’ Private Label & Bespoke Solutions: Support the creation and delivery of bespoke brand concepts and NPD for key customers. β€’ Team Leadership: Line manage and mentor a Brand Manager, providing guidance and support to ensure strong performance and development. What We’re Looking For β€’ A results-driven marketer with solid experience in FMCG, particularly in food, beverage, or hot drinks. β€’ Demonstrable line management experience and a collaborative leadership style. β€’ Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and analyse brand P&Ls. β€’ Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while managing complex marketing budgets. β€’ Skilled in brand communications across earned, owned, and paid media. β€’ Experienced in ecommerce and digital marketing, with an understanding of direct-to-consumer strategy. β€’ An excellent communicator with a sharp eye for creative detail, brief writing, and campaign evaluation. β€’ A proactive, flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to travel and occasionally work outside standard hours. β€’ A degree or professional marketing qualification is desirable but not essential.
