Morght Inc. is a leading innovator in the lifestyle and wellness industry in Japan, known for its premium mattress products and commitment to quality. As we expand our market presence in the US, we are looking for a marketing professional to join our brand-new team.
You’ll play a pivotal role in setting the company’s US marketing direction, building brand awareness, and driving growth. We’re looking for someone who’s creative, experienced in executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns, and has industry knowledge to help us position and grow our brand in a yet-to-be-known market.
As our Marketing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the following:
・Develop and execute marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive customer acquisition in the US (core target will be the California market).
・Manage digital marketing campaigns, including paid social, Google Ads, and influencer collaborations.
・Manage offline marketing campaigns including pop-up events, D/OOH, and retail marketing.
・Analyze marketing data and optimize campaigns to improve performance and ROI.
・Oversee content creation for social media, email marketing, and website materials.
・Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior and competitive trends.
・Collaborate with GHQ (Tokyo) and external agencies to align marketing initiatives.
Ideal Profile:
・3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in D2C, e-commerce, or consumer goods.
・Strong knowledge of digital marketing, paid advertising, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
・Conversational Japanese (previous experience working for a Japanese company is a plus).
・Excellent communication and content creation skills for US consumers.
・Experience with influencer marketing and brand partnerships is a plus.
・Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
・Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
