Direct Reports: E-Commerce Planner, E-Commerce Coordinator (Catalog & CX)
Role Overview:
The Senior E-Commerce Manager is a cross-functional leader responsible for driving topline growth, customer experience., and operational excellence across Amazon, Target, Walmart and other digital retail channels. This role owns end-to-end business planning, unit forecasting, promotional strategy and reporting, while partnering closely with marketing, merchandising, operations and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Business Growth
• Lead annual and monthly planning cycles, including budget forecasting, OTB management, and sales goals
• Own pricing and promotional strategy across all e-commerce channels
• Analyze Amazon bulk buys, tentpole events, and Born to Run opportunities
• Identify growth opportunities through ad hoc hindsight, trend, and margin analysis
• Partner with marketing and digital teams to align strategies for paid media, tentpole events, and merchandising.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketplace strategy, aligning with overall business goals.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
Inventory & Forecasting Planning
• Lead the planning and buying process with the inventory planner, forecasting demand, and managing purchasing decisions based on data analytics and market insights.
• Develop and manage unit buy plans across core categories
• Maintain and optimize category-level forecasting files and inventory projections
• Manage the planners weekly shipment requests and coordinate with logistics and 3PL partners
• Manage the planners inventory transfers between warehouse and marketplaces (e.g., Walmart, Target dropship)
• Manage the planner to ensure on-order visibility and accuracy within Extenta, including ship windows and unit cancels.
• Oversee and Manage the replenishment planner/program to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing excess inventory while preventing stockouts.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes and improve turnaround times.
Performance Reporting & Insights
• Produce and present weekly and monthly business recaps and dashboards
• Maintain master assortment, projection and selling reports
• Drive adoption and development of business intelligence tools (e.g. QlikSense)
• Monitor KPIs across channels and recommend optimizations
Operations & Execution
• Partner with catalog and CX coordinator to ensure SKU accuracy, promotional execution, and content compliance
• Escalate and resolve operational issues, including site errors and customer-impacting issues
• Participate in regular meetings with retail partners, internal teams, and external agencies
• Contribute to major projects including brand store launches, new reporting templates or tech integrations
• Oversee the management of the site, ensuring optimal product presentation, SEO, and user experience.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of listings and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and customer service teams to create cohesive marketing plans and promotional strategies.
• Work with the technology team to enhance the online shopping experience and implement new tools or features as needed.
Team Leadership

Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of experience in e-commerce or omni-channel retail, preferably with Amazon, Target, Walmart
• Proven track record in business planning, forecasting, and marketplace optimization
• Highly proficient in Excel, reporting tools (QlikSense, Tableau, etc) and marketplace portals
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and solutions-driven
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and inventory management systems.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale inventory, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
