Role description
At POST Recruitment Leeds, we’re proud to be working with a forward-thinking retail brand that’s redefining digital commerce with its extensive product range.
We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Marketplace Executive to join their growing digital team, taking ownership of marketplace expansion and supplier performance. This is a pivotal role for someone ready to drive commercial growth through strong trading insight, digital optimisation, and effective supplier partnerships.What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting in the development and deliver a comprehensive strategy to grow marketplace performance and exceed revenue targets.
• Identify and onboard new product ranges using data, market trends, and competitor insights.
• Build and manage relationships with marketplace vendors to enhance stock breadth, site speed to market, and overall trading performance.
• Forecast demand and implement stock replenishment strategies to minimise stockouts and optimise inventory levels.
• Analyse KPIs including traffic, conversion, AOV, and customer acquisition to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Align marketplace strategy with wider digital and commercial teams to ensure consistent messaging, range differentiation, and campaign execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, product, engineering, operations, and customer service to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience.What We’re Looking For:
• 12 months experience in supplier or vendor management within a marketplace or eCommerce trading environment.
• Confident negotiator and communicator, able to manage multiple stakeholders and external partners.
• Commercially astute, able to act quickly on insights and adapt to market trends.
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce principles including promotions, customer journey mapping, and trading calendars.
• Familiar with CMS platforms or digital merchandising tools.Why Join This Team?
