Role description
About the Role We are seeking a Media Planner/Buyer to plan, buy, and optimize paid digital campaigns across search, social, display, and video. This role will focus heavily on paid social, paid search, and DSP media (e.g., The Trade Desk), with an emphasis on e-commerce clients. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of experience executing campaigns in Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Microsoft Ads, with proven success managing mid-to-large campaign budgets ($500K–$1M). You will collaborate cross-functionally with social, creative, account, and analytics teams to deliver effective, measurable campaigns for top clients. Key Responsibilities • Plan, execute, and optimize CPC, CPM, and CPV advertising campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube/Video), Microsoft Ads, and paid social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter). • Manage and optimize display/video campaigns through DSPs, with a focus on The Trade Desk. • Independently execute campaigns for assigned clients, including keyword development, copywriting, and optimization. • Monitor performance, analyze results, and recommend optimizations to meet KPIs. • Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, social media teams, creatives, and analysts to deliver integrated campaigns. • Provide POVs on best practices, platform updates, and emerging technologies; contribute to agency thought leadership via blog posts and insights. • Stay current on industry trends, paid media innovations, and evolving digital marketing platforms. • Report campaign results and insights to both internal stakeholders and clients. Must-Have Qualifications • 4–6 years of experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid digital campaigns (search, social, display, video). • Strong expertise with Google Ads products (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube/Video). • Experience running campaigns on Facebook/Instagram (primary), Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, and Microsoft Ads. • E-commerce client experience (Amazon DSP a strong plus). • Hands-on experience with The Trade Desk or other DSPs. • Prior agency experience strongly preferred. • Bachelor’s degree (required). • Ability to manage and optimize campaign budgets of $500K–$1M. • Demonstrated proficiency in reporting and analytics (Google Analytics, Datorama a plus). • Strong written, oral, and organizational skills. • Ability to be client-facing and collaborate effectively across teams. Nice-to-Have Qualifications • Certifications: Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads, or Microsoft Ads certifications. • Familiarity with Amazon advertising platforms. • Experience with large portfolio accounts (multiple brands under one client).
