Merchandising Admin
Role Summary
We are looking for a Merchandising Administrator to join our busy Merchandising team based at our Head Office in Frome. The successful candidate will need to be motivated, organised, analytical and have excellent attention to detail. The candidate must also be competent on all Microsoft packages, particularly Excel. The job itself represents an exciting opportunity to develop your career within our Buying and Merchandising department.
Responsibilities Include
β’ Supporting wider Merchandising Team in the day to day running of the Department
β’ Clear knowledge of the Brand and itβs Consumers
β’ Updating and maintaining online systems and data β To include, product attributes and pricing
β’ Running reports to aid the Merchandising Teams decision making
β’ Implement Sales and Promotional admin, to include pricing and website categories
β’ Support with new season launch administrative tasks
β’ Managing aspects of website visual merchandising
β’ Checking website & catalogues to ensure products info is correctly represented
β’ Building good working relationship with suppliers and become a key point of contact
β’ Raising Purchase Orders and tracking and chasing stock deliveries
β’ Working with our customer services team to help with product queries
β’ Supporting the Merchandising Team with any ad hoc admin requests
β’ Prepare slides for presentation in key meetings
β’ Review competitor activity and propose opportunities accordingly

β’ Good working knowledge of Excel & Word
β’ Ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines
β’ Organised and works well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
β’ Able to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
β’ Confident & able to communicate freely with relevant stakeholders
β’ Knowledge of the Cox & Cox brand
β’ Awareness of current market & competitors
β’ A degree would be ideal but not essential
The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who wants to be an instrumental member of the Merchandising Team.
Any experience within an Ecommerce environment, within Homewares or with using NetSuite and Magento would be beneficial but not essential.
