Role Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and data-driven Merchandising Data Intern to support the merchandising team in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our ecommerce platform. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the site experience is optimally merchandised, accurate, and engaging for our customers. You will collaborate closely with the Merchandising, Tech, and UX/UI teams to manage product data, site visuals, and frontend changes. Key Responsibilities β€’ Data Management & System Input β€’ Enter and update data in merchandising systems to reflect changes on the front end of the website. β€’ Support the accurate display of onsite product assortments and ensure timely product setup. β€’ Maintain product categorisation, attribute tagging, and metadata in merchandising tools. β€’ Product Onboarding β€’ Manage the process of onboarding new products, ensuring all relevant information and assets are captured, checked, and uploaded accurately. β€’ Frontend Experience Support β€’ Partner with Tech and UX/UI teams to help support implement frontend amendments and enhancements. β€’ Conduct thorough frontend and visual QA checks to identify and correct display or tagging errors. β€’ Visual Merchandising β€’ Support the visual representation of product listings, including control of sorting orders and "visual shelf" logic. β€’ Make informed recommendations for visual merchandising improvements Skills & Qualifications β€’ Strong analytical mindset. β€’ Excellent attention to detail; able to identify small errors and inconsistencies. β€’ Comfortable following technical instructions and working with system interfaces and back-end tools. β€’ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional collaboration. β€’ Proficient in preparing and organising data for analysis, including spreadsheets and product feeds. β€’ Basic understanding of online retail and product lifecycle. Languages β€’ English Full professional proficiency required. β€’ Italian Professional proficiency is a plus.
