We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Merchandising & Operations Coordinator to join our small but mighty team. In this role, you’ll support our buying, marketing, and product development teams to help bring our brand story to life and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a go-getter, a collaborative team player, thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment, and is equally comfortable working independently. WHAT YOU’LL DO Merchandising: • Enter purchase orders into our warehouse management system • Create PDPs (Product Detail Pages) in Shopify, including retouching image assets and writing product descriptions • Merchandise the site—create brand pages, build shops, re-merchandise collections, and set new products live • Coordinate sample shipments to and from international vendors, including creating shipping labels Operations: • Be the voice of The Sleep Code across email, chat, and social media DMs using Zendesk • Thoughtfully resolve customer inquiries, including orders, returns, and product/shipping issues • Manage and fulfill orders on our third-party storefronts (Amazon and Max Retail) • Support daily office operations, such as ordering supplies, managing samples, and keeping common areas organized • Help manage internal calendars and team communications for our two founders Marketing: • Assist with pre-production, on-set, and post-production for photoshoots and trunk show setups • Manage samples and props: order, track, steam, tag, and prep for use • Organize and transport samples and props to and from shoot locations • Support influencer/marketing gifting efforts, including packing and shipping physical gifts Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree • 1 -2 years of experience in a merchandising, operations, or related support role. • Willingness and ability to travel domestically for major trunk shows, including working weekends. • Experience with Shopify & Zendesk preferred. • Experience with Loop and Canva a plus! • Proficient computer skills (Google Workspace, Slack) • Stellar written communication skills—you write clearly, thoughtfully, and have the capability to create brand-aligned communications. • A calm, empathetic problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
