Job Summary:
Amazon is a global leader in e-commerce and technology, and they are seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Manager to lead their Paid Search channel marketing. The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to drive traffic and maximize revenue through search marketing initiatives, while collaborating with various teams and utilizing analytical skills to optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
β’ Develop deep search channel insights and understanding in partnership with retail teams, other marketing channel teams, and international stakeholders
β’ Translate channel insights into test plans, product/feature proposals, and opportunities for optimization
β’ Define and run tests, including A/B experiments to test new vendor features and/or inform new product development
β’ Conduct in-depth analyses to refine our understanding of the search space and uncover optimization opportunities
β’ Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and concise business actions and recommendations
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
β’ Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
β’ Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
β’ Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
β’ Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
β’ Background in analytical positions or consulting is a plus
β’ Degree in Business, Marketing, Math/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a similar field
β’ Excellent business judgment and the ability to think strategically and execute methodically
β’ Able to generate ideas and solve problems independently and consistent with Amazonβs core principles
β’ Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a passion and aptitude for analysis and related tools.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills β written and verbal
β’ Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business and international teams
β’ Interest in the technical aspects of digital marketing
β’ Strong bias for action and sense of urgency; the ability to make things happen quickly.
β’ A track record of teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
Preferred:
β’ Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
β’ Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
