BruntWork is a growing vehicle transport company focused on enhancing its online presence. They are seeking a skilled Technical SEO Specialist to audit, optimize, and monitor the technical foundation of their website, ensuring improved search engine performance and user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Website Audits: Diagnose technical issues hampering search performance and UX.
• Site Speed Optimisation: Reduce load times, enhance Core Web Vitals, and boost engagement.
• Mobile Optimisation: Deliver flawless responsive experiences across devices
• Crawlability & Indexing: Guarantee search bots can discover and index every critical page.
• Structured Data Implementation: Deploy schema markup for products, articles, FAQs and more.
• XML Sitemap Management: Keep sitemaps accurate and comprehensive to surface key content.
• Broken Link Management: Identify, prioritise, and resolve broken links to uphold site health.
• Website Architecture Optimisation: Architect logical, scalable site structures that guide both users and bots.
• Keyword Research: Pinpoint high-impact opportunities and support content strategy.
• Content Optimisation: Collaborate with copywriters to align on on‐page SEO best practices.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, uncover actionable insights, and deliver concise performance reports.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficient with HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Hands‐on experience with Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights and top SEO toolkits (e.g., Screaming Frog, Ahrefs).
• Strong analytical mindset; able to translate data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with developers, marketers and senior stakeholders.
• Curious by nature: you track algorithm changes, beta‐test new features and advocate for best practice.
• Familiarity with major CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Magento, etc.).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Technical SEO role, ideally within e‐commerce or logistics.
• Familiarity with the Australian SEO market and local SEO practices
Preferred:
• Bonus: experience working with transport, automotive, or logistics businesses
