Role Overview
We are seeking a Music & Audio Gear Advisor who combines product knowledge with strong sales drive.
This role is about more than answering questions — it’s about engaging customers, understanding their needs, and closing deals. You’ll guide musicians, creators, and audio professionals toward the right gear while ensuring that every conversation leads to real sales growth.
While the initial focus is on sales and customer advising, this position also has a clear growth path: as you succeed, you’ll gain opportunities to influence merchandising, campaigns, and eventually lead the MusicMajlis division.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries across WhatsApp, chat, email, and social channels.
• Understand customer needs and provide unbiased, practical gear recommendations.
• Follow up on leads and ensure maximum conversion of enquiries into orders.
• Manage post-sales queries to build loyalty and repeat business.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
E-commerce Support
• Monitor and manage day-to-day online sales activity.
• Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order processing.
• Support merchandising efforts (review product listings, highlight category opportunities).
• Track competitor activity and share insights on pricing and product trends.
Growth Contributions
• Provide inputs on which products, bundles, or categories to offer.
• Share customer insights for product range planning and clearance opportunities.
• Contribute feedback to improve website usability, product filters, and customer journey.
What We’re Looking For
• 3–8 years of experience in e-commerce sales, inside sales, or customer success.
• Strong understanding of the music and audio industry (live sound, recording, DJing, producing, instruments).
• Broad hands-on experience across different audio equipment and instruments — working with different brands, categories, and settings is a major advantage.
• Proven ability to close sales and hit targets, not just advise.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Zoho CRM, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
• Educational background in Audio Engineering or Music.
• Experience as a musician (drummers strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with Behringer, Alesis, or similar product ecosystems.
Soft Skills
• Sales-driven mindset with persistence and adaptability.
• Problem-solving with initiative.
• Customer empathy balanced with focus on results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
