If you are a current employee, please navigate here to apply internally. Position Purpose The National Accounts Manager is responsible for maximizing sales with key retail and hardware accounts. In this role you will support organization’s pursuit of strategic initiatives and market share growth, as well as support Zurn Elkay’s business interests - collaborate with internal partners to manage business efficiently and optimize profit. You will educate, advocate, and articulate to all levels of the organization, retail and hardware channel strategy, principles, considerations, and best practices. Job Functions • Inform and deploy retail channel strategy with key accounts; adapt and cater as necessary to best align with accounts’ strengths, programs, platforms, and customers • Lead cross-functional effort to drive results and operational excellence across fundamental go-to-market principles (inventory availability, promotions, online & store merchandising, online content, online search & advertising, new product launch) • Relationship building – foster collaborative, responsive, fair-minded working relationships with account counterparts, support team, and leaders. • Sales Planning – analyze data and trends to explain past results and project future sales and partner with finance to plan budget (annually) and maintain forecasts throughout the year (monthly / quarterly). • Account Management – ensure all business functions are operating efficiently and effectively, engaging and partnering with cross-functional areas to address issues/opportunities internally or escalate with account counterparts as necessary (manufacturing, product, planning, pricing & trade agreements, data, marketing, customer care, fulfillment, compliance, finance, accounting). • Merchandising – partner with Product and Marketing to remain educated on market trends, competitive landscape, and product attribute strategy to effectively convey value proposition and identify assortment needs and gaps. • Online Sales Excellence - Partner with marketing to optimize page rank and conversion as lead indicators of top-line sales performance and market share growth (i.e. promotions, paid and organic search, ratings and reviews).
