The role
You will manage a portfolio of major national accounts, delivering growth, profitability and best-in-class customer relationships. You'll develop and execute strategic account plans, negotiate at senior level, and drive sales and marketing initiatives that deliver results. Using data-driven insight, you'll identify opportunities, manage risk, and ensure stock, forecasts and promotional activity are optimised.
Key responsibilities
• Manage and grow major national retail and e-commerce accounts
• Deliver volume, revenue and margin targets through strategic business planning
• Create and implement promotional and trade marketing activity
• Analyse sell-through data to maximise opportunity and reduce risk
• Build strong, multi-level customer relationships to secure long-term business
• Negotiate commercial terms to optimise the marketing mix
• Manage budgets, forecasts and performance reporting
• Coach and lead a direct report to deliver individual and team success
What we're looking for
• 5+ years' experience as a NAM or similar within consumer goods, toys, entertainment or FMCG
• Proven success managing national retail and/or e-commerce accounts
• Strong commercial acumen with advanced negotiation skills
• Confident presenting, forecasting and using data to drive decisions
• Collaborative, results-focused and customer-centric
• Degree in business, marketing or similar (preferred)
• Able to commit to four days per week in the office (South East HQ) plus travel as required
