nuuly is looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner who will maximize subscription revenue by creating a sound merchandise and assortment plan for rentals that minimizes risk, increases productivity, and support nuuly’s goals for turn and in-stock. Serve as a trusted leader and manager with effective communication and problem-solving skills. Role Responsibilities • Strategic Planning and Decision-Making : Proficient in using planning tools and systems to make strategic decisions, analyze reporting, and communicate findings effectively • Business Execution and Problem Solving : Owns and executes business recommendations, solves organizational problems, and makes informed decisions based on analysis and experience • Process and Ownership : Ensure class success by meeting key metrics, partnering with the buying team for weekly evaluations, and interpreting data science into profitable strategies • Collaboration and Influence : Builds strong relationships with buying and planning teams, partners with senior management, and positively influences team dynamics and processes through clear communication • Leadership and Team Management: Trusted leader who drives results, coaches and manages direct reports, sets clear priorities, and provides career development Role Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning in a retail environment • Experience in start-up environment a plus • Strong financial and analytical skills • Results oriented • Critical-thinking • Problem-solving skills to anticipate problems before they happen and handle them appropriately when they do • Exceptional communication skills • Strong time management skills including managing at least 1 direct report • Advanced Excel skills • Strong data warehouse skills (EDW, Looker, Island Pacific) The Perks URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
