Are you a communications planner who thrives where brand strategy meets shopper behavior? We’re looking for an Omnichannel Engagement Strategist to craft insight-driven communications plans that span the full path to purchase from in-store moments to digital shelves and ecommerce platforms.
This role focuses on creating insight-driven communication plans that guide consumers across the full path to purchase, from in-store activations to ecommerce platforms. Ideal candidates will bring experience developing shopper strategies for CPG brands, a deep understanding of both physical and digital retail environments, and the ability to work seamlessly across internal teams.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead integrated shopper communication planning from awareness to conversion
• Map omnichannel journeys across digital, social, in-store, and ecommerce
• Use syndicated data and research to uncover behavioral insights
• Customize strategies for key retailers like Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Amazon
• Write inspiring creative briefs and collaborate across teams to bring them to life
• Support agency-level communications and PR efforts through case studies and strategic narratives
• Provide mentorship and elevate strategic thinking across the department
• Define KPIs and optimize campaign performance in collaboration with analytics
Qualifications:
• 5–7 years of experience in communications planning, shopper marketing, or brand strategy (agency preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CPG and retail environments (in-store and digital)
• Experience with ecommerce, digital retail media, and path-to-purchase strategy
• Proficiency with syndicated tools like Nielsen, IRI, and Numerator
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced hybrid team
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings and key engagements
Travel: Occasional (up to 25%)
Compensation: Up to $115,000/year
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and relevant experience.
