Role description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Online Specialist, in the Amazon Store Pick operation. Working within our Online team, you will be based in our head office with a hybrid working pattern.
In this role you will help to manage our Morrisons on Amazon operation to deliver process improvement and cost savings in our online stores. Your role will help drive productivity and product availability initiatives that will improve our operation.
This will include coaching store performance and analysing data to help identify opportunities. Good organisational and communication skills are essential.
You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders including our Amazon Business Partners, Store Management Teams, Regional Managers, and departments throughout our Head Office.
Applicants will be based in our head office, situated in the Bradford area for a minimum of four days per week for this 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.
There may also be times when you would need to travel further to visit our stores and partners.
It is important that applicants have a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle for this travel.
You’ll be responsible for things like;
• Drive improvements in our Morrisons on Amazon operating model.
• Effectively communicating with stores through a variety of channels, including livestreams and chat groups.
• Collaborate with store or supply chain teams, implementing processes to improve product availability for our customers.
• Working with store teams, to understand how we can deliver a better service to our customers and grow our market share.
• Be part of our Online growth, supporting existing stores across the estate.
About You
You’ll need skills and experience like this;
• Third party / stakeholder management experience
• Has a real passion and energy for improving the online customer experience
• Has drive and commitment to grow sales and improve costs
• Experience in retail, with Online experience very advantageous
• A good problem solver with a can-do attitude and drive to ‘get the job done’
• Commitment to identifying opportunities to drive sales.
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise a demanding workload
• Computer literate with good understanding of google docs, sheets and slides
• Ability to hold stakeholders accountable and prioritise a demanding workload
• Strong influencer at all levels
• Effective stakeholder management
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to lean in on wider team priorities
• The ability to work under tight time constraints.
