WHO WE ARE
Red Velvet NYC is a small food manufacturing company, specializing in ready-to-bake cookie dough and DIY Baking Kits. Our mission is to make it fun and easy to bake at home! Founded in 2015, we are constantly growing, and looking for agile, knowledgable, and proactive team members. Located in Mount Kisco NY, we are a Monday - Friday operation from 8am-430pm.
We're looking for an Operations Coordinator who can support the day to day operation of our growing business.
SKILLS
β’ Count and track inventory daily and order new ingredients based on in-stock and upcoming production
β’ Supervise receiving (bringing in raw materials, taking photos of lot codes) and coordinating storage with Operations Manager
β’ Procure and source all ingredients and packaging in time to meet forecasted production
β’ Support E-commerce and Corporate order fulfillment: print and setup daily orders, supervise/complete fulfillment
β’ Manage all Customer Service email correspondence
β’ Customer Service: Respond to buyer inquiries via email and telephone
β’ Order Fulfillment:Β receive, input, process and communicate inbound POs
β’ Logistics:Β schedule delivery appointments with carriers; create shipment BOLs; alert Accountant of shipment
β’ Execute Daily Shipping (pull and load pallets for outbound shipments, take photos of temps, pallet ID numbers, and signed BOLs)
β’ Create a clean, safe and organized factory environment
β’ Coordinate with Operations Leader to manage ongoing services for the facility (pest, fire, safety, gloves, gowns, towels, etc.)
β’ Support CEO with administrative tasks and special projects
EXPECTATIONS
β’ Relationship-oriented to build supplier network and support entire team
β’ Detail-oriented to track and manage ingredient, packaging and finished good inventory
β’ Will eventually lead bi-annual/quarterly/monthly physical
β’ Strong Excel skills
β’ Strong communication skills
β’ Understand Baking Ingredients
SALARY + BENEFITS
β’ $60,000-$80,000 commiserate with experience
β’ 10 days PTO and 6 paid holidays
