At theprintspace, we’re not just the world leaders in fine art and photographic printing—we’re rewriting the rules of art commerce. For 18 years, we’ve transformed the art industry with a fearless blend of art, data, and technology. With a commitment to product excellence and customer satisfaction, we’re hunting a highly driven Order Fulfillment Associate to join our best-in class print team.
Working from our state of the art non-customer facing studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn, you’ll work across all aspects of the print production fulfillment process. This includes fine art printing on large format Epson Inkjet printers, quality control, framing, and the dispatch of orders. You’ll form part of the core team of 4, with regular responsibility for supervising freelancers with the day-to-day activities.
You would be part of an organisation that stands alone as a leading platform for art and photographic printing, celebrated for its commitment to quality, innovation, and the fostering of connections with clients. As well as our Brooklyn studio, we have production facilities in Dusseldorf and London, and serve some of the biggest artists and art institutions in the industry.
First and foremost, direct experience in digital printing is not required, we can teach you the industry specifics. What we care about is your ability to learn fast, with a great attention to detail and the right attitude which we see as more valuable than experience. You should have a passionate interest in the creative arts and/or printing making. A plus would be you have managed/supervised a small team between 2-15. However, you could also have a number of years of experience and are ready for more responsibility.

Daily Responsibilities include :
• Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Help maintain and instill the company’s production processes, quality control measures, and order fulfillment targets.
• Printing customer orders on Epson large format Inket printers.
• Print trimming and quality control.
• Packing of orders, including the fitting of prints in pre-made frames.
• Dispatching orders through Shipstation (UPS/USPS)
• Stock control and materials management.
• Occasionally working with artists in-person on special projects such as hand signed sales, local exhibitions and events.

• Adobe suite skills, notably Photoshop.

The role :
We are looking for someone to manage our order fulfillment department with experience in e-commerce or the art industry. On a day-to-day basis you will use our in-house order fulfillment software to ensure that all art print orders get dispatched on-time and to the correct standard.
This will mean checking prints, fitting frames and packaging and dispatching orders via USPS and UPS for deliveries across the United States and canada. Part of your daily responsibility will be to ensure that all orders get dispatched on time and to the high standards our customers expect. You will be part of a management team of 3 up with a team of associates and freelancers. We expect this team to grow over time.
Our print fulfillment service uses large format Epson Inkjet printers, Digital C-Type printers and we also offer pre-made frames plus bespoke framing and mounting options. We package these products securely and dispatch them according to the orders we receive into our backend order management system.

We are looking for the following skills/ qualities:
• An ambitious person who is looking to further a career with a fast growing company within a growth industry
• Someone knowledgeable about art or photography, possibly an arts graduate or someone with experience in the commercial art or photographic or printing industries.
