Core Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our Order Management System (OMS) stack. This includes developing, maintaining, and enhancing our systems using Microsoft .NET/C#. You'll work with both server-based and serverless applications on cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS.
You'll need a deep understanding of OMS paradigms, including:
• Inventory Management: Handling inventory, supply feeds, and real-time updates.
• Order Fulfillment: Orchestrating orders for various scenarios like Ship to Home, Ship from Store, and in-store pickup (BOPIS).
• Integrations: Connecting to external services for payments, taxes, and other critical functions.
• Sourcing & Scheduling: Optimizing how orders are fulfilled and managed, including backorders and flash sales.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
• .NET/C# Experience: You have 4-6 years of hands-on experience in .NET/C# design and development, specifically in an e-commerce environment.
• E-commerce & OMS Knowledge: You have solid, end-to-end knowledge of e-commerce subsystems, including storefronts, backends, OMS, and supply chain processes.
• Cloud & Architecture: You have in-depth knowledge of microservice-based, event-driven architecture on cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Experience with specific AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS is a plus.
• APIs & Integrations: You have strong expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and are skilled in building and integrating RESTful web services. You're familiar with various API types like REST, JSON, and GraphQL.
• Databases: You have 2-4 years of experience with Oracle or other relational databases, including query optimization.
• DevOps & Tools: You have a good understanding of Agile methodology and CI/CD pipelines. You're also familiar with observability tools like New Relic or Datadog for monitoring and alerting.
• Production Support: You have experience in production application support and can work with L1/L2 teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
