Role description
Job Summary
The Paid Marketing Specialist manages vendor relationships and develops strategic marketing plans to promote supplier brands through paid media on WebstaurantStore and The Restaurant Store. They execute annual marketing campaigns, coordinate with internal teams to launch promotions, analyze performance data, and ensure ROI through thoughtful alignment of supplier goals with company strategy. Additionally, they support creative development, proof marketing materials, and drive brand messaging across media channels.
The Paid Marketing Specialist serves Clarkβs procurement division, which buys products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform WebstaurantStore.com, The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2024, we reached $3.6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs.
Responsibilities
β’ Assists in managing relationships with key vendor partners, to develop and grow paid marketing strategies and plans through WebstaurantStore and The Restaurant Store through the following: marketing plan creation, coordination with internal teams to execute vendor promotions, performance data analysis, reporting & benchmarking, and coordinating marketing business review presentations.
β’ Strategically establishes and executes annual supplier marketing campaigns/plans to optimize + drive increased revenue and awareness to the brand and products, collaborating and aligning with the merchant category strategy.
β’ Assists in the preparation and setup of digital marketing campaigns and print marketing materials.
β’ Coordinates and provides creative input with the marketing, design, and content teams to generate digital and print materials and aids in the proofing of marketing materials and paid promotions.
β’ Excellent communication and organizational skills that ensure timely, effective and impactful collaboration across suppliers and internal teams. This includes βpreβ and βpostβ communications or reporting needs.
β’ Owns objective matters and supplier driven needs related to the media ads, driving the brandβs message and vision.
Physical Requirements
β’ Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
β’ Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
β’ Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
β’ Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
β’ Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Experience
β’ Minimum of 2-3 years of marketing or related experience preferred
β’ Proficient in MS Office β strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a plus
β’ Experience in Power BI or analytical platforms a plus
β’ Business proficiency in English is required
