Role description
About Creative Science
Creative Science is a boutique, AI-first growth partner for ambitious eCommerce and lead-gen brands. We combine sharp strategy with hands-on execution across paid media, SEO, CRO, CRM, and retention - joining up the entire customer journey to unlock compounding growth.
We're not your typical agency. We’ve built a reputation for lean teams that outperform bloated setups, senior talent that executes, and commercially fluent operators who obsess over outcomes. Our team is AI-trained, insight-led, and radically focused on delivering real results - not just impressions and reports.

The Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Paid Media Buyer to join our high-performance team. You’ll lead execution across Meta and Google campaigns for a mix of eCommerce and lead-gen clients, helping to drive acquisition with clarity and control.
You'll work closely with our CMO and Creative team to craft campaigns that not only convert - but compound.
This role is ideal for someone who’s thrived in a fast-moving agency, knows what great media buying looks like, and wants to be surrounded by ambitious, commercially-minded teammates who genuinely give a damn.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Own paid acquisition: Plan, build, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across Meta and Google Ads.
• Diagnose and improve: Analyse data (using GA, Looker Studio, Klar, etc.) to drive actionable insights and performance improvements.
• Test and learn: Rapidly iterate on creative, copy, audience targeting, and funnel structure to unlock better ROAS or CPL.
• Client strategy: Join weekly trading calls and monthly creative reviews with clients, presenting insights and shaping media plans.
• Creative direction: Collaborate with our CCO and Creative team on what’s working, what’s needed next, and how we keep outperforming benchmarks.
• Performance reporting: Build and own dashboards, share weekly summaries, and clearly communicate impact - no fluff, just facts.
What Good Looks Like
You’re:
• Comfortable managing six-figure monthly budgets and switching between clients, verticals, and goals with ease.
• Not just pressing buttons - you understand strategy, sales psychology, and what moves the needle.
• Obsessed with the details. If a campaign isn’t tracking, you don’t wait to be asked - you investigate, fix, and flag learnings.
• Clear in your communication. Whether it’s with clients or colleagues, you make the complex simple and the next steps obvious.
• Experienced in agency life - working across multiple accounts, tight turnarounds, and results-driven delivery.
• Curious, fast-learning, and unafraid to challenge old thinking in the pursuit of better outcomes.
Must-Haves
• 3–5+ years hands-on experience in Meta and Google Ads (agency-side)
• Strong analytical skills (GA4, Looker Studio, Klar, etc.)
• Solid copy instincts and the ability to steer creative effectively
• Confident with attribution modelling and conversion tracking
• Experience working in eCommerce and/or lead-gen environments
• Clear communicator, comfortable in client-facing roles
Values We Live By
• Communicate with Candour: Say what needs to be said - clearly, respectfully, and without ego.
• Operate Like a Sports Team: We’re here to win as a unit. Everyone plays their position, but we share the outcome.
• Find Solutions, Not Problems: Be the person who sees a problem and moves it forward, not just flags it.
• Think Commercially: Our job isn’t just to get results - it’s to get profitable results.
• Build What’s Next: Stay curious, experiment often, and help shape the agency we’re building together.
The Setup
• £30,000-£32,000 based on experience
• Hybrid role, UK-based (with occasional in-person client days or team offsites)
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Tight-knit team, zero politics, and real career headroom as we scale
