We’re scaling our in-house capability and looking for a talented Performance Marketing Lead to help evolve our paid strategy.
About the Role
Charles & Ivy is looking for a commercially minded Performance Marketing Manager to lead and optimise our digital media performance across key channels and agency partners.
This is a hybrid strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who can collaborate across teams, manage agency output, and bring a data-led lens to weekly trading conversations. You’ll work closely with our agency and in-house teams to deliver measurable growth and scale our paid media efforts with precision and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
· Owns and manages paid media performance across key platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), ensuring ROAS and acquisition targets are met
· Lead agency partnerships: briefing, reviewing, and challenging performance with confidence and authority
· Weekly and monthly reporting: Analyse performance, translate insight into action, and communicate results clearly to senior stakeholders
· Develop media plans in line with trading calendars, product priorities, and seasonal moments
· Collaborate with Creative and Content teams to test, refine, and launch effective campaign assets
· Spot opportunities in new platforms, formats, and audience segments and run structured tests
· Own media budgets across channels, adjusting allocation based on real-time data
· Monitor and report on key performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, MER, CAC, and attribution patterns
· Contribute to broader growth strategy conversations, surfacing insights on acquisition, retention, and market trends
Requirements
· 3–5+ years in performance marketing, ideally in a consumer brand or e-commerce environment
· Strong grasp of paid media platforms and attribution (Google Ads, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Google Analytics, Looker Studio)
· Experience managing agencies or external partners and holding them to performance
· Comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and translating metrics into commercial decisions
· Excellent communication skills — clear, confident, and credible with internal stakeholders
· Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
· Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is a plus
Nice to Have
• Experience in e-commerce, particularly within a high value / luxury product area and / or home & garden sector.
• Certification in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or other relevant platforms.
• Client-side experience working with an agency
• Understanding of full channel mix (other than Paid)
• Experience working with Shopify website
