Role description
MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair. Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO. We’re making new and exciting things – and we could really do with your help. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Paid Search Manager to lead and aggressively scale our global paid search efforts, with a strong focus on North America and Europe. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in e-commerce platforms and a proven track record of driving significant ROI through performance marketing. This role requires not only hands-on expertise but also the ability to effectively manage and mentor a small, dedicated team, fostering their development and ensuring strategic alignment. • Please note that this is a maternity cover contract • Responsibilities • Develop and execute comprehensive paid search strategies across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and other relevant platforms to drive aggressive customer acquisition and revenue growth in key markets (North America, UK, Europe, etc.) • Lead the strategy, execution, and optimisation of diverse campaign types, including Shopping, Performance Max (PMax), and YouTube, focusing on maximising their potential for scale • Manage substantial paid search budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and performance to achieve ambitious ROI and efficiency targets • Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of paid search specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment • Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and optimise existing campaigns for maximum growth • Oversee the end-to-end management of paid search campaigns, including account structure, ad copy creation, bid management, landing page optimisation • Design, implement, and analyse rigorous A/B tests to continually improve campaign performance, ad copy, landing pages, and overall strategy • Leverage advanced analytics and deep understanding of attribution models to monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for optimisation and scaling • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Data Science, and regional teams to ensure integrated strategies and seamless execution • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and competitive landscape to continuously evolve our paid search strategies and identify new opportunities for scaling • Provide regular reporting and performance insights to stakeholders, clearly articulating results and strategic recommendations About You • 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing and scaling paid search campaigns for large-scale e-commerce platforms • Demonstrable expertise in managing significant budgets and achieving aggressive performance marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, LTV) • Proven experience in international paid search, specifically with a strong understanding of European markets and localisation nuances • Deep expertise in optimising and scaling campaigns across Google Shopping, Performance Max (PMax), and YouTube Ads • Prior experience managing and developing a small team of direct reports • Expert-level proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other relevant paid search tools and platforms • Strong understanding of various attribution models and their impact on campaign optimization • Extensive experience with A/B testing methodologies and a data-driven approach to decision-making • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and presenting to stakeholders • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment • A passion for digital marketing and a curiosity for new technologies and strategies Nice To Have • Experience with other paid media channels (e.g., Paid Social, Display) • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms • Experience in print or design industries What’s it like to work at MOO?
