Position Overview
Typhur is seeking an experienced Paid Search Manager to own and scale our performance marketing strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, & programmatic display. You’ll be responsible for full-funnel campaign execution, optimization, and reporting, ensuring we maximize ROI and drive profitable growth through search. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, analytical, and deeply familiar with the nuances of paid search for eCommerce.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and optimize paid search campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Bing, etc.), ensuring performance meets business objectives.
• Manage campaign structure, keywords, ad copy, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and budgets.
• Drive efficiency and ROI through continuous testing, real-time optimization, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with creative, web, and analytics teams to align paid search with landing page and CRO strategies.
• Analyze performance data and customer behavior to surface insights and opportunities.
• Build and deliver clear reporting, forecasts, and recommendations in partnership with BI and Finance.
• Ensure that insights from paid search campaigns are integrated into broader marketing strategies, and collaborate on improving conversion rates, landing page performance, and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in paid search and digital marketing technologies.
• Identify new opportunities, tools, and methodologies that can be implemented to drive better campaign performance.
Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years of experience in paid search in e-commerce or agency focused on B2C.
• Deep understanding of the technical aspects of SEM & programmatic display, across marketing platforms, data pipelines, tracking and tagging, analytics, and attribution.
• Experience managing and optimizing $1M+ budgets.
• Proven success in scaling and optimizing eCommerce paid search accounts with ROAS and CAC targets.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, utilizing proficiency in Excel and analytical dashboarding tools. Experience with Python and SQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with feed management, attribution modeling, and A/B testing methodology.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to clearly convey strategy and performance to leadership.
• Self-motivated and highly organized; able to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
