β’ Job Description
The Paid Search and Shopping Specialist will take ownership of executing and optimizing search and shopping campaigns to achieve performance goals across various platforms. This role involves strategic collaboration with internal teams including Ecommerce, Site Merchandising, Finance and Analytics as well as external agency partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of paid search, and exceptional communication skills to drive campaign success and deliver continuous performance improvements.
Role Description
Program Strategy & Performance Support
β’ Interpret performance data to uncover actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
β’ Evaluate key performance indicators and provide optimization recommendations at the tactic level to support growth and goal attainment.
β’ Oversee budget pacing and ensure alignment with revenue and ROAS objectives, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
β’ Lead the development of new campaigns, ensuring alignment with product assortment strategy and brand priorities.
β’ Shape promotional initiatives that reinforce broader marketing goals and enhance overall campaign impact.
β’ Deliver ongoing performance reporting, highlight emerging trends, and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Vendor & Agency Coordination
β’ Oversee collaboration with the search agency to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution across campaign launches and ongoing performance optimizations.
β’ Drive cross-functional coordination with partners such as Feed Vendors and Google, ensuring operational efficiency and swift resolution of issues.
β’ Ensure clear, consistent communication with external stakeholders to maintain accountability for timely delivery of creative assets, performance reporting, and campaign updates.
Strategic Support & Innovation
β’ Stay informed on the latest search marketing trends, tools, and best practices, proactively sharing insights to enhance team knowledge and strategy.
β’ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive alignment on both current and upcoming search marketing initiatives.
β’ Lead the planning and execution of test-and-learn strategies, identifying new opportunities for growth and optimizing campaign performance.
Role Requirements
β’ A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Paid Search, ideally within the eCommerce or retail sectors.
β’ Proficiency with platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Merchant Center, and bidding tools (experience with SA360 is highly preferred).
β’ Solid understanding of web analytics and competitive tracking platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, The Search Monitor).
β’ Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and present compelling strategic narratives.
β’ Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
β’ Bachelorβs degree required.
