Join us as a Paid Search Specailist and you’ll be a big part of this. Role Purpose: This is a key delivery role focused on the day-to-day running, optimisation, and performance management of B&Q’s paid search activity across key formats including Performance Max, Google Shopping, Local Inventory Ads, and Text Ads. What's the job? Key Responsibilities • Ensure the smooth daily running of B&Q’s paid search campaigns across Google Ads and SA360 • Execute and optimise activity across Performance Max, Shopping, Local Inventory Ads (LIA), and Text Ads • Manage the end-to-end campaign lifecycle – from setup and launch to daily bid and budget optimisation • Use tools such as Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, SA360, and spreadsheet-based bulk uploads to manage and streamline activity • Collaborate with the wider Paid Search team to share performance insights, testing results, and opportunities • Monitor campaign performance, flag issues, and take proactive steps to improve ROAS • Coordinate with internal ecommerce, trading, and product teams to align campaigns with business priorities and stock availability • Support with performance reporting and contribute to the development of testing strategies where relevant What We Need What We’re Looking For: • At least 2 years’ hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns, ideally within large-scale ecommerce accounts • Proven knowledge of Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, and Search Ads 360 (SA360) is essential • Confident using spreadsheets for bulk campaign uploads and reporting (Excel or Google Sheets) • Strong understanding of key Google ad formats including Performance Max, Shopping, LIA, and Text Ads • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with a focus on performance metrics and commercial outcomes • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with strong communication and time management skills • A passion for digital marketing and a curiosity for ongoing innovation What's in it for me?
