Role description
TONYMOLY USA is seeking a whimsical, strategic, and highly detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team on a freelance, part-time basis. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for beauty, a strong eye for visual storytelling, and experience creating high-performing digital assets across Amazon, DTC, and retail channels.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of our brand across product pages, email campaigns, and social platforms—bringing product stories to life through engaging infographics, creative marketing assets, and elevated design.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Design Support
• Design product infographics for Amazon, tonymoly.us, and key retail partners (e.g., Ulta, Macy’s).
• Translate clinical and product data into compelling visual storytelling for PDPs and A+ content.
• Create and resize e-comm assets across platforms with attention to specs, consistency, and brand voice.
Email & Web
• Design 2–3 email campaigns per week for DTC (Shopify), aligned with marketing calendars and promotions.
• Create homepage and site banner assets for tonymoly.us.
Marketing & Social Support
• Assist the marketing team with creative needs for social content, PR mailers, events, and internal campaigns.
• Support creative development for product and lifestyle shoots—mood boards, prop concepts, and shot list organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with product, marketing, and e-commerce teams to align visuals with messaging, product launches, and promotional goals.
• Set up and maintain template files (Canva preferred) for use by non-designers on the team for quick-turn or recurring assets.
Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in graphic design (beauty, lifestyle, or CPG experience strongly preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing infographics, email marketing design, social-first creative, and digital ad work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Canva is a strong plus.
• Experience designing for Amazon, DTC websites, and/or retail product pages a major advantage.
• Knowledge of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy; motion graphics or light video editing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage timelines, meet deadlines, and take feedback with ease.
• Highly organized and self-motivated with strong time management skills—this role supports multiple departments and requires clear prioritization and consistent follow-through.
• Passion for K-beauty and a sharp eye for Gen Z and Millennial aesthetics.
