About OnePet
At OnePet, we’re on a mission to improve the lives of pets and their families through trusted products, expert advice, and compassionate services. Our family of brands — Honest Paws, CertaPet, TotalVet, and Service Dogs — empowers pet parents with everything they need to give their furry companions the happiest, healthiest lives possible.
We’re seeking an in-house SEO Specialist to join our growing marketing team. If you’re passionate about search, love digging into data, and thrive on finding ways to connect pet parents with the content and products they’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
Benefits you'll receive:
OnePet Total Rewards program reflects our continued commitment to lead from the front in everything we do — that's why we take pride in offering a comprehensive variety of programs and resources to support your health and well-being needs. We provide the benefits, competitive compensation, and recognition to help sustain your efforts in making an impact that matters at home with your families, in your communities, and at work.
• 100% Remote Company
• 401K with 4% employer match & no vesting period
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
• Unlimited PTO and generous parental leave
• $700 one-time home office stipend
• Access to employee discount programs (travel, cruises, electronics, etc.)
• $50 monthly internet stipend
What You’ll Do
As our SEO Specialist, you’ll play a key role in scaling organic growth across all OnePet brands. You’ll focus on content optimization, technical SEO, and analytics to ensure our sites are visible, competitive, and aligned with pet parents’ needs.
Content SEO
• Create SEO briefs for blog articles, homepage updates, and product detail pages.
• Partner with the SEO Content Manager to identify content opportunities and knowledge gaps.
• Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and search intent.
Technical SEO
• Conduct SEO audits on key pages and identify areas for improvement.
• Recommend optimizations to site structure, metadata, and internal linking.
• Stay on top of algorithm changes and SEO trends to keep our brands competitive.
Analytics & Reporting
• Track SEO performance across multiple brands and report on progress against KPIs.
• Analyze traffic, rankings, and conversion data to uncover insights and guide strategy.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for content and product teams.
Your weekly focus will shift based on brand priorities, with direction and support from the SEO Content Manager.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience: 2–4 years in SEO (agency or in-house), ideally with multi-brand or e-commerce/content-heavy websites.
• SEO Expertise: Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Tools expertise: Proficient with Google Search Console (GSC), Ahrefs, and bonus points for Surfer AI.
• Analytical mindset: Skilled at interpreting data, spotting opportunities, and translating insights into action.
• Collaboration: Strong communicator who can work closely with content and product teams.
• Pet passion (a plus!): Love for animals and an interest in making a real difference for pets and their people.
How We’ll Measure Success
In this role, success will be measured by your ability to:
• Increase organic traffic across all OnePet brands quarter over quarter.
• Improve keyword rankings, with a focus on moving priority terms into the top 3 and page 1 of search results.
• Boost click-through rates (CTR) from search impressions on high-value pages.
• Ensure new content is SEO-optimized, with 100% of briefs aligning with search intent and best practices.
• Contribute to growth in conversions and revenue from organic traffic (measured via GA4 and GSC).
• Maintain strong technical SEO health, including Core Web Vitals, crawl/index coverage, and error reduction.
Why Join Us?
• Be part of a mission-driven company that helps pets live their best lives.
• Work with a passionate, creative, and pet-loving team.
• Opportunity to influence SEO strategy across multiple brands.
• Competitive compensation and growth opportunities.
