Kouo is an ambitious, early-stage tech-startup that uses A.I. to improve companies' marketing and to help them grow.
We analyse a company and scrape existing advertising and messaging from the Internet using A.I. to create new marketing campaigns and strategies.

About the Role
As a Performance Marketing Account Manager, you’ll take full ownership of client relationships and use our platform to improve campaign performance.
You’ll serve as the primary point of contact, guiding strategy, interpreting data, and ensuring successful delivery of digital marketing initiatives across paid media channels.
You will work directly with the co-founders managing client needs and also feeding back learnings to translate them into features.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is excited by autonomy and ownership, and is eager to grow alongside a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the main liaison between clients and internal teams.
• Develop and communicate performance marketing strategies tailored to client goals.
• Analyze campaign data and deliver actionable insights in clear, client-facing reports.
• Present performance updates and strategic recommendations with confidence.
• Coordinate with creative, media buying, and analytics teams to ensure campaign success.
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships based on trust, transparency, and results.
Role KPIs
• Client satisfaction and retention rates
• Timely and accurate reporting and communication
• Upsell and cross-sell opportunities identified and executed
• Operational efficiency in managing multiple accounts
Experience & Qualifications
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing (agency experience preferred)
• Proven success managing paid media campaigns (e.g. Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads Display)
• Strong client management and presentation skills
• Proficiency in campaign performance analysis and translating data into strategy
• Comfortable in a startup environment—independent, proactive, and adaptable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)
• Experience working with eCommerce and SME clients
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau)
• Working knowledge of campaign tracking tools, A/B testing, and attribution models
• Creative mindset and interest in growth strategy
• Experience working in startups (either as a founder or early employee
