About the role
We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. You’ll work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to help deliver digital marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales across our range of events. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop hands-on experience in performance marketing, particularly in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok and other platforms.
• Own the day-to-day performance of campaigns, ensuring they meet set goals and KPIs.
• Develop audience targeting strategies and write compelling ad copy.
• Use data to analyse campaign performance and apply insights to improve results.
• Run A/B tests to refine creative and targeting approaches.
• Report on campaign performance, sharing learnings and recommendations with the wider team.
• Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Manager on broader strategy and innovation.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, creatives, and customer acquisition tactics.
• Track campaign budgets and pacing to ensure spend aligns with performance goals.
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent grammar & communication skills, with high attention to detail.
• An understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads.
• Experience of managing large marketing budgets (£1m + per year)
• High level of competency in Google Suite.
• Experience with Google Analytics & tracking platforms is advantageous.
• Some experience using Canva or other graphic design tools is advantageous.
• A courageous attitude when it comes to sharing new ideas, ways of working and creative thinking with outputs.
• E-commerce knowledge/experience is nice to have as we look to expand the business.
• Previous experience in events, though not essential.
• Confident in identifying, resolving, and escalating key points and issues.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a passion for events.
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-driven work style.
