This role sits in our Cover-More Europe business, which provides insurance solutions across travel, car hire, specialty, and pet sectors in the United Kingdom and Europe. For more than twenty years, we have been delivering insurance policies through our distribution partnerships and directly to consumers online.
We're part of Zurich Cover-More , one of the world’s leading travel insurance and assistance providers with more than 20 million customers, more than 200 partnerships and multi-lingual teams in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. • You’ll assist in achieving revenue targets and implementing online growth strategies to improve the business performance across our European markets
• You’ll continually explore the market opportunity and evolving search technologies and methodologies to create new ways of engaging customers via search, resulting in an ever-improving search ROI
• You’ll work within the European Marketing team, your objectives will be to improve online sales through the development and implementation of paid search and SEO strategies for our European business
• You’ll provide performance and budget reporting for the Executive Leadership Team
• You’ll assist with the management of all paid search, programmatic, offsite retargeting, clickthrough affiliates and SEO efforts across our portfolio of European D2C websites
• You’ll optimise copy and landing pages for SEM campaigns, perform ongoing keyword research, expansion and optimisation, and research and analyse competitor activity
• You’ll assist in designing and delivering a 12-month search engine optimisation plan to improve search engine ranking and overall website visibility
And what are we looking for?
• You’ll be educated to degree level, and have experience in implementing and managing SEM strategies to increase sales generation and website conversion
• You’ll possess knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads and Looker
• You’ll have a solid understanding of the digital landscape and online methodologies with a focus on search and optimization
• You’ll possess strong analytical skills and the ability to translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations to improve sales, user experience and brand awareness
• You’ll have experience with using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush and Lighthouse
• You’ll have data modelling and statistical optimisation experience
• You’ll have a solid understanding of eCommerce and online marketing principles
• Italian language skills would be advantageous
