Client Overview: Our client, a well-known active brand, is looking to add a photo retoucher to join the Brand Creative team. You must have deep ecommerce experience and have a strong eye for skin tones, fabrics and color. • • MUST Have Apparel experience Retoucher Qualifications: • 4+ years retouching for ecommerce • 4+ year minimum prior experience in commercial photo retouching for fashion industry working on figure • The right candidate must have experience retouching skin in a range of skintones and hair types while keeping the photography’s original intent and the look and feel real and natural. • Must be able to work on delicate fabrics. • Industry-standard retouching skills: precision masking, color correcting, color matching, digital-alteration of the products, creating shadows, extending & replacing backgrounds, cropping, multiple formats exporting, and more. • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Camera Raw, Lightroom and Capture One • The needs will range from color correction to retouching of imperfections and adjusting layers/masks and clipping paths for eCommerce and more.. • Proven track record in resizing of images, working with clipping paths for on figure and lay down imagery, and RGB/CMYK conversions • A strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in retouching and ability to interpret brand/project guidelines. • Open and receptive to learning and critiquing. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision. • Strong communication and organizational skills.
