Role description
We’re working with highly specialised, digital agency that is part of an award-winning group based in Newcastle. The role They’re looking for a PPC Manager to join their growing team to take the lead on innovative paid marketing strategies for their clients, delivering measurable impact and building long-term relationships. This person will laser-focus on Google Search. You’ll: • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with clients through clear, timely, and informative communication. • You won't manage anybody directly, but will need solid stakeholder and client ability. • Ensure all paid marketing activity (focusing on Google Search) aligns with industry best practices. • Confidently forecast spend and return using account performance and external data insights. • Partner with the Senior Manager to devise and execute strategies that hit and exceed client objectives. • Spot and deliver cross-sell and upsell opportunities. • Oversee monthly client work including bid and budget management, campaign and ad copy builds, and performance reporting. • Share insights and thought leadership internally and externally, demonstrating expertise in PPC. • Mentor and support junior team members. • Be fluent in key tools such as Google and Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Shoptimised, and other measurement platforms. About you We’re looking for someone who is: • Experienced: Proven track record of managing successful PPC campaigns and nurturing excellent client relationships. • Creative: Skilled at bringing fresh, innovative ideas that enhance brand awareness and deliver results. • Organised: Able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines, keeping complex projects running smoothly. • Innovative & enthusiastic: Ready to explore new ways of working, take smart risks, and go above and beyond for clients. • An excellent communicator: Able to adapt communication style depending on the audience, whether clients, colleagues, or stakeholders. The application process • Initial 30-minute telephone interview to get to know you better, including a short personality profiling exercise. • If successful, a second-stage interview where you’ll prepare a role-specific presentation and answer technical questions. Salary £40k-£45k Location This person will ideally attend their Newcastle office to be with the team 1-2 x a month (all expenses paid including hotel).
