Principal Product Manager Location: Remote (UK-based) Salary: £130,000 – £155,000 + 15% Bonus A leading digital consultancy is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive the strategy, delivery, and assurance of complex digital transformation programmes. You’ll lead major client engagements from concept through to implementation, championing user-centred design and Agile delivery, while coaching a high-performing team and influencing C-level stakeholders. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for someone who blends deep product management expertise with strong commercial acumen and a passion for making a real impact through technology. What You’ll Be Doing: • Leading significant consulting engagements across multiple industries, from discovery through to delivery. • Shaping product strategies and business cases that are user-focused and commercially sound. • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including coaching client teams on product management best practices. • Managing and mentoring senior consultants and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver impactful digital products. • Translating complex business needs into actionable functional requirements and roadmaps. • Facilitating workshops and driving collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups. • Driving consulting projects with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting based on client needs. • Contributing to business development and commercial decisions within projects. What You’ll Bring: • Extensive experience in product management, including Agile, UX, and programme delivery. • Strong blue-chip consulting experience • Strong sector knowledge in at least two major business verticals (e.g. Financial Services, Retail, Telecoms). • Proven experience in digital product delivery within application environments such as CRM, eCommerce, or enterprise platforms. • Excellent C-level stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Proven ability to manage and mentor senior team members in a consulting or transformation setting. • Broad business and technology awareness, with a sharp understanding of industry trends. • Highly skilled in translating business objectives into digital product strategies and delivery plans. • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance innovation and value against delivery constraints. • A collaborative leadership style, with experience managing cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams. Desirable: • Experience working in digital startups or full-service digital agencies. • Background in delivering digital transformation programmes. • Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent Agile certification. • Project management experience across multiple frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Scrum, Kanban). • Active contributor to the wider product or tech community (e.g. speaking, blogging, mentoring).
