Job Summary:
Tekion Corp is a company that is innovating the automotive industry with its cloud-native platform. They are seeking a strategic Product Architect to align complex workflows and design event-driven architectures for their retail product offerings, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities:
• Map and align business workflows across teams to ensure consistency and clarity in how retail products, customer data, and CRM touchpoints are connected and supported in the platform.
• Design and document robust event-driven triggers that power key retail and CRM interactions—such as customer actions, inventory updates, fulfillment events, and campaign automation.
• Ensure that critical flows across product, customer engagement, and reporting are architecturally sound and maintainable, with clear trigger points and system ownership.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, CRM, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable, technically feasible system designs.
• Create and maintain system architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and process documentation that illustrate workflows, triggers, and data dependencies across the retail and CRM stack.
• Develop architecture patterns that support reuse across different retail segments and CRM workflows, enabling faster iteration and product expansion.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in product architecture, systems design, and product management within a software or SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, workflow orchestration, and retail software ecosystems
• Familiarity with automotive systems and data flows
• Demonstrated experience collaborating across business and technical teams to align complex processes
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills; ability to synthesize and articulate system logic for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with utilizing Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira, and Figma tooling
Preferred:
• Background in retail operations, eCommerce, or B2C customer engagement
• Working knowledge of APIs, data integrations, and event streaming technologies
• Familiarity with data mapping, system dependencies, and downstream impact analysis
