As a Product Designer & Partner, you won’t just design screens. You’ll design systems of interaction, trust, and leverage that scale across products and become part of the DNA of AI-native commerce. Your Mission: Architect the UX DNA of AI-Native Commerce • Design foundational UX systems for AI-driven features (conversational, gamified, trust-centered). • Own critical web and mobile experiences that serve as the entry point for millions of users. • Drive end-to-end design from sketches to prototypes to launch. • Embed design into AIOS, ensuring your work compounds as part of our operating system. • Contribute to and evolve the design system to scale consistency, trust, and velocity. How You’ll Operate & Build At Demand.io, documentation is the work. You scale impact by encoding design context into systems that both humans and AI execute. • Architect Grounding Files: Translate design intent into structured frameworks, rubrics, and reusable components. • Orchestrate AI Systems: Leverage AI to generate, test, and refine design options at scale. • Prototype Rapidly: Build high-fidelity experiments to validate hypotheses with users and stakeholders. • Codify Design Primitives: Add reusable tokens, flows, and components to the design system. • Design for Trust: Make provenance, privacy, and verification transparent and confidence-inspiring. • Compound the OS: Ensure every design shipped strengthens AIOS, accelerating iteration and raising leverage. Ideal Backgrounds & Trajectories: • Product Designer at a high-growth consumer, e-commerce, or AI-first startup. • Designer who has owned significant user flows from concept to launch. • Hybrid profile spanning visual design, systems thinking, and prototyping. Bonus Points: • Conversational UI or AI/LLM interface design. • E-commerce, marketplaces, or fintech product experience. • Front-end prototyping or coding fluency. Compensation & Partnership • First-Year Cash Comp: $180,000 – $275,000 • Profit-Sharing Bonus (PSB): Monthly, revenue-tied cash bonus; typically +30–100% above base. • Equity: Significant grant vesting over 4 years.
