Role description
Company Description About VERSANT VERSANT, Comcast Corporation’s (NASDAQ: CMCSA) planned spin-off, will be a leading independent publicly traded media company comprised of most of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions. This opportunity is within our Fandango group – a collection of trusted entertainment brands that guide over 50 million movie and TV fans throughout their viewing journey. Whether it’s purchasing tickets to their favorite blockbusters through Fandango, reading trusted reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, or streaming the latest releases at home via Fandango at Home, our platforms help audiences find, watch, and enjoy content with ease. Our team thrives on shaping how people discover and experience entertainment, one screen at a time. Job Description About the Role: Fandango is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to help evolve our digital commerce and membership experiences. As part of the Fandango Ticketing team, you will be responsible for driving product innovation across our membership programs (loyalty, purchasing a membership, benefits) as well as our transactional systems for our suite of products (ticketing, concessions, merchandise, promotions and more). In this role, you will balance business needs with customer needs to build a seamless and engaging experience that maximizes revenue, strengthens customer relationships, and cultivates long-term loyalty. You will play a critical role in defining and delivering innovative systems and services, collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders across the company to create a best-in-class customer experience. If you live and breathe entertainment and have significant digital product experience, this could be the perfect role for you. What You Will Do • Define and Deliver: Craft clear and comprehensive product requirements for a set of features for our Fandango membership program and checkout funnel, ensuring alignment with company strategy, customer needs and business goals. • Collaborate: Partner with Engineering, QA, Decision Sciences, Finance, Exhibitor Relations, Customer Service, Fraud, Ad Sales, Business Development, and other Product teams to identify opportunities and solve problems. Build rapport and earn trust. • Align: Balance inputs from business, design, research, technology, and external teams and drive alignment around shared vision and prioritized backlog. • Discover & Innovate: Use data, research, and market insights to identify customer needs and technology trends that inform actionable product solutions. • Measure Success: Define KPIs, analyze results, and leverage insights to measure product success and drive business impact. • Own the Lifecycle: Guide projects from concept through launch, iterating to improve outcomes. • Experiment & Learn: Develop hypotheses, run experiments, and refine products to optimize KPIs. • Roadmap: Contribute to and execute a product roadmap that balances customer value, business growth, and strategic opportunities. Qualifications WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Has 3+ years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of impactful digital products across web and apps. • Brings 2+ years of experience in e-commerce and/or membership/subscription programs. • Has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a Computer Science/Engineering background is a plus. • Possesses strong operational knowledge of digital product development, including agile practices (SCRUM), test-driven/behavior-driven development, and tools such as JIRA. • Uses data, research, and customer insights to inform product decisions and measure success. • Is a strong communicator, able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives. • Excels at problem-solving, prioritization, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Thrives in ambiguity—fluid, adaptable, and able to pivot across initiatives. • Is collaborative, resourceful, and proactive, with a consumer-first mindset. • Shows a genuine passion for entertainment and creating engaging consumer experiences that drive loyalty and lifetime value. Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to be performed from a non-Versant worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence. Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision. NBCUniversal's policy is to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender identity or expression, age, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, veteran status, membership in the uniformed services, genetic information, or any other basis protected by applicable law. You can submit your request to AccessibilitySupport@nbcuni.com. Although you'll be hired as an NBCU employee, your employment and the responsibilities associated with this job likely will transition to Versant in the future.
