Job Summary: Wayfair is one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home, and they are seeking a Product Merchandising Manager to lead strategic site experience initiatives. In this role, you'll own a significant portion of the product catalog and will be responsible for optimizing how products are presented and discovered across Wayfair.com. Responsibilities: β€’ Own the merchandising strategy and execution for a major vertical or category group, overseeing both day-to-day maintenance and longer-term site experience innovation. β€’ Coach, mentor, and manage a team of merchandising associates, helping them grow through feedback, development, and stretch opportunities. β€’ Develop and execute roadmap initiatives that improve product discovery, filtering, category clarity, and conversion. β€’ Partner cross-functionally with Category Management, Product, Analytics, and Engineering to build a cohesive shopping journey and customer experience. β€’ Analyze site metrics and customer behavior to identify high-impact merchandising opportunities and develop data-informed business cases for action. β€’ Lead A/B tests and merchandising pilots that challenge the status quo, with a focus on measurable outcomes. β€’ Communicate merchandising insights and performance trends with stakeholders and leadership to drive alignment and visibility. β€’ Serve as a merchandising advocate and voice of the customer within your vertical, identifying gaps and surfacing long-term opportunities. Qualifications: Required: β€’ 5+ years of experience in digital merchandising, product management, site experience, or a related field β€’ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) β€’ Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional influence skills β€’ Proven leadership experience managing and developing a team β€’ Highly organized and process-driven, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment β€’ Strong analytical skills; comfort working with data sets to inform decisions β€’ Comfortable evaluating trade-offs and making strategic decisions β€’ A proactive mindset with a bias toward ownership and continuous improvement Preferred: β€’ Experience with SQL, Google BigQuery, or data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) is a plus Company: Wayfair is a retail store that offers a wide range of home products such as outdoor, bedding, lighting, and appliances with online services.
