As the Product Owner for Collection Online, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and managing a digital platform that brings the Royal Collection to a global audience. From overseeing the product roadmap to ensuring an exceptional user experience, you’ll deliver excellence in an environment that values creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• You’ll lead the delivery of the Collection Online (COL) digital platform, managing priorities, budgets, timelines and resources to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
• Collaborating with web agencies and key stakeholders, you'll design, develop and test solutions that are user-focused, accessible and sustainable.
• You’ll conduct usability and accessibility testing, ensuring the platform meets agreed goals, standards and KPIs both at launch and as it evolves.
• Optimising platform performance through data-led decisions will be essential, using SEO best practices and analytics tools to drive continuous improvement.
• You’ll oversee content delivery platforms and integrations, managing stakeholder communications to keep projects aligned with wider organisational objectives.
About you
• With previous experience in product management, you'll have a proven track record of delivering complex digital projects to tight deadlines.
• Comfortable turning insight into action, you'll be able to analyse user research, stakeholder feedback and digital performance data to shape clear priorities for your agency partners.
• Experienced in user-centered design, you’ll have a practical understanding of user research and usability testing, ensuring the end product meets customer needs.
• An exceptional communicator, you’ll be confident working across teams and managing a wide range of stakeholders to deliver results.
• With experience overseeing UX and digital performance reporting, you’ll be comfortable using GA4 and Looker Studio to monitor analytics and inform decision-making.
Benefits
We know that to deliver our best work; we need to feel at our best. That’s why at the Royal Household we offer a generous benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and life priorities.
• Enjoy 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 days (plus bank holidays) dependent on the length of time you have worked for us.
• Our excellent non-contributory pension plan (we’ll contribute 15% and you can contribute more if you wish) is highly valued by our employees, as is complimentary lunch on-site to keep you fuelled throughout the day.
• Flexible and hybrid working varies across different roles, and we’ll discuss the options available to you that will suit both your job requirements and individual preferences.
• We also offer a range of leave options to support your life priorities, such as parental pay and leave and volunteering days, as well as benefits to support your physical and mental wellbeing.
• Other perks include 20% off at our Royal Collection Trust Shops and complimentary admission tickets across all our locations, along with many more exclusive employee discounts.
