Role description
PROJECT MANAGER
Main Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for leading all the medical equipment and supplies e-commerce strategies and activities to drive online expansion while meeting sales and profitability targets. Responsibilities include complete P&L management, analytics; partner management; site operations and maintenance; and overall project prioritization and management. This role will establish and develop an evolutionary roadmap that will define how to best go to market and win in the digital space through maximizing new technologies, existing programs, and learnings, partnering, and collaborating closely with Brand counterparts.
In addition, develop and direct a cohesive team of e-commerce resources, managing development and succession planning.
Responsibilities include:
β’ To liaise with Group President and the General Manager to identify strategic opportunities and develop a roadmap for online expansion and distribution, including direct-to-consumer channels and medical equipment partners.
β’ Establish and implement policies and procedures in the office
β’ Lead operations, merchandising, customer service, and marketing support services areas, along with limited warehousing activities
β’ Responsible for online revenue growth and sales forecasting to meet overall corporate objectives, sales, and profitability targets year over year.
β’ Initiate and lead company e-commerce strategy and website enhancements by implementing industry best practices.
β’ Maintain clear communication with significant stakeholders and optimum customer service at all times. Analyze online experience of customer service and recommend improvements
β’ Review and assess sales trends and progress vs. objectives regularly.
β’ Serve as the primary contact point for disseminating online guidelines and best practices, and collaborate to identify online marketing and sales opportunities.
β’ Responsible for the talent development of a team of direct reports, including planning for the departmentβs future needs, operations, hiring, performance management, talent planning, etc.
Brand Relationship and Digital Marketing
β’ Create fiscal sales goal targets for each brand. Develop monthly brand sales targets and evaluate planning and initiatives as needed to meet sales goals
β’ Develop a strong partnership with the brand, ensure proper measures to support business needs, and identify new programs and online opportunities
β’ Manage and grow existing online brand partnerships, and explore new options with authorized partners
β’ Review Consumer Insights & Engagement, social media and ensure alignment with e-commerce initiatives
β’ Oversee new partnerships and digital marketing opportunities through online media and other performance marketing sources
β’ Stays abreast of consumer Market trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior
Qualifications:
Β· Undergraduate or MBA, preferably major in digital marketing or strategy development
Β· 8-10 years of experience in building an e-commerce business, preferably in medical equipment
Β· Working experience with various media/digital agencies.
Β· P&L and Budget management required.
Β· Strong analytics, reporting, and creative problem-solving skills.
Β· Strong understanding of metrics and reporting.
Β· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Β· Must be a brand advocate and team player
Β· Ability to Travel (approx. 15-25%)
