We believe that work should be fun and that as a tea,m we produce better work when people enjoy their job and are passionate about what they do. Sounds good? Well, what are you waiting for β get your checklist out and see if itβs a good fit.
Location
The Tom&Co nerve centre is located at our brand new, trendy office near Tower Bridge. We can promise you a fun and creative place to work with a company that is growing fast so you will have plenty of opportunities to develop. We have openly embraced the flexibility of working from home and days in the office, with two compulsory office days.
What's in it for you
You will be part of an ambitious agency, experiencing rapid growth. This is a great opportunity where you can progress alongside the company, working closely with the directors, whilst being surrounded by people who are always willing to help each other.
We offer a scheme for personal self-development as we believe in growing our employees' potential to the full. There are lots of opportunities within the company to develop and increase responsibility and skill set. We work hard through the week but never shy away from a wind-down on a Friday.
You will be joining a welcoming, friendly team with a good sense of humour. You will have 24 days holiday, bank holidays on top, and we even give you your birthday off to celebrate in style. To top it all off β youβll work on a shiny new MacBook Air, which you can take home, naturally.
We believe in paying people what they feel they deserve, so you tell us what that is and we will tell you if our pockets are deep enough.
Summary of responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will have full control of one of four βPodsβ within the company. Each pod will consist of a multi-disciplinary, fully autonomous team, consisting of a designer, business analyst, FE & BE developers, QA testers, and a technical analyst, that will be geared towards looking after a sub-sect of T&Cβs clients. Those clients will range between the four different retainer tiers that we have, including one platinum client.
Below is a list of expected responsibilities:
β’ Taking ownership and leading the pod in the delivery of all work
β’ Leading various agile Scrum ceremonies within the pod (daily standup, refinement, sprint planning, & retrospectives)
β’ Keeping track of priorities and managing work accordingly
β’ Updating the client on scheduled work in sprints and any unexpected changes
β’ Joining the client for retainer calls (varies from weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly) and project weekly calls to provide updates, and maintaining excellent relationships
β’ Plans the midterm resource vs holidays and escalates if the risk of insufficient resources
β’ Ensures actions and decisions from retrospectives are carried forward
β’ Providing sprint delivery reporting and looking for opportunities to optimise or increase delivery/efficiency
β’ Oversees Service Desk delivery and escalates urgent or slow-moving issues
β’ Schedules back-end resource with the shared back-end team
β’ Project managing retainer projects within the pod
β’ Creating and maintaining project timelines and responding to and communicating changes

β’ Working with the Account Manager to secure additional budget if required
β’ Ensures any referrals to our partners are communicated to the AM team to introduce and ensure commission is received
β’ Weekly call with Head of Project Management to provide a status update on pod delivery & project progress
β’ Using Jira for managing all internal work and ensuring time is logged
β’ Using ClickUp for client and project management, ensuring itβs utilised, maintained and remains organised
Skills and experience
β’ +3 years of project management experience
β’ Experience working with Magento 2 is preferable
β’ A clear communicator to internal teams and clients
β’ Effective client stakeholder management experience
β’ Good technical website understanding
β’ Understanding of PM methodologies, particularly Scrum
β’ Use of project management systems, particularly Jira
β’ Bright, ambitious, and looking to progress in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
β’ Well organised and a logical thinker
β’ Passionate about e-commerce and all things digital
β’ Excellent English communication skills
β’ Naturally well-organised, reliable, and enjoys working in a methodical way
Oh and one last thing...
We are committed to diversity within our team and encourage and support females, POC, LGBTQ+ and peoples of all abilities to apply to our roles. We are focused on involving more diverse individuals in all our teams, but especially in our technical teams to do our bit to shrink the gender and diversity gaps in STEM.
We look forward to hearing from you.
