Role description
QA ANALYST
Are you obsessed with catching bugs before they make it live? We're looking for a detail-driven QA Analyst to help us deliver flawless digital experiences across our global network of Medik8 stores. From testing the tiniest interactions to validating complex website functionality, you'll be the final line of defence before every release.
This role requires a keen eye for usability, experience with manual testing practices, and a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms (Shopify experience a bonus). You’ll care deeply about great customer journeys and feel confident raising issues, suggesting improvements, and working collaboratively to ensure everything we ship meets our high standards.
As a QA Analyst, you’ll work closely with developers, project managers, and the Global Head of Digital to ensure everything we build is rock solid. You’ll be the advocate for quality, and your testing expertise will directly contribute to better user experiences.
OUR BRAND
Medik8 is one of the world’s fastest-growing skincare brands, focused on science-based skin ageing products. We have experienced enormous growth in both the digital and retail spaces in recent years. Following a recent investment round, the brand is building a powerhouse digital team to drive performance, streamline operations, and elevate user experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Manually test website features across desktop and mobile to ensure functionality, accuracy, and responsiveness
• Write and maintain clear test cases, acceptance criteria, and bug reports
• Support regression, cross-browser, cross-device and exploratory testing
• Proactively identify, log, and verify issues, working closely with developers to drive resolution
• Validate third-party integrations, promotions, and platform updates before deployment
• Collaborate with the development and marketing teams to test new features, campaign launches, and content updates
• Maintain an organised test backlog and help improve QA processes over time
• Contribute to QA best practices and promote a culture of quality across the team
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL…
• Have 1–3 years’ experience in a manual QA role, ideally in an eCommerce or digital product environment
• Understand core testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
• Be confident writing structured test plans and defect tickets using JIRA or similar
• Have excellent attention to detail and a passion for user experience
• Be proactive, curious, and unafraid to challenge inconsistencies or unclear requirements
• Have experience testing responsive websites across multiple browsers and devices
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and stakeholders
• (Bonus) Have some knowledge of Shopify or other CMS/eCommerce platforms
• (Bonus) Have exposure to test automation or an interest in learning more
