What You’ll Do:
The Quality Assurance Analyst will ensure that features, functionality, and content changes that are implemented by the Web Development Team meet the highest standards, result in zero downtime, and give our customers the best shopping experience possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
• Become a subject matter expert in Whisker web, mobile, and fulfillment applications
• Partners with the development team, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to create and execute a test strategy for new or updated functionality
• Finds and document functional and UX defects, including expected/actual behavior and recreation steps
• Responsible for go/no-go decision on deployments of functionality based on executed tests
• Assists with production testing post-deployment, verifying application code was properly deployed
• Recreates and documents issues reported by end-users (internal and external) of production systems
• Partners with the Web Development team during the discovery and design phase to ensure all use-cases are captured prior to the start of development
• Executes SQL queries to verify data is properly stored in underlying systems during testing.
• Will perform additional responsibilities when required
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent years of experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Quality Assurance Engineer in an eCommerce environment
• 3+ years of experience utilizing SQL to write queries during the data validation process
• 3+ years of experience utilizing browser developer-tools to assist in the diagnosis of application issues
• 3+ years of experience utilizing a project management tool to track the status of bugs and issues found
• Intimate knowledge of the main components of an eCommerce application
• Experience using PostMan, SOAPUI, or other API testing tools
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Extreme attention to detail and highly organized
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• The desire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies
• A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to motivate others
• Ability to provide a working atmosphere that is positive and productive
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members and colleagues
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
• Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions
• A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
• Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs)

• Experience executing automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar
